About CNF
A young fertilizer company, built around the Indian farmer
Soil has rightly been called the soul of all life. We started CNF to help farmers put it back in good health.
Our story
Why CNF exists
Decades of intensive farming to feed a growing population have worn Indian soil down. In much of the country, soil quality has declined, and farming families feel it every season in rising input costs and flat yields.
Our founders saw that hardship up close. They set out to build a brand that gives farmers a dependable crop nutrition solution and the advice to use it well.
CNF combines experience in Indian agri markets with industrial and agronomic know-how. We take a fresh look at an old industry: we work face to face with individual growers, and we promote sustainable nutrient management, one field at a time.
A trusted company with quality products. That is what we want CNF to mean.

Our mission
What we do
We discover, develop and deliver farm input products that help farmers apply nutrients to crops with the highest efficiency, and we make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.
Our vision
Where we are going
Helping farmers reach better decisions in sustainable nutrient management.
Our values
Five things we hold ourselves to
Who we are: facilitators of sustainable crop nutrient management. Who we serve: farmers and growers who want the right nutrition for their crop.
Products that perform and service that turns up.
Genuine care, shown in what we make and what we say.
The highest standard of honesty, starting with the label.
We make good on every promise.
Understanding for everyone who works with us.
How we write and speak
We would rather tell a farmer a fact, a number and an instruction than a slogan.
Eco-friendly fertilizer in India
What "eco-friendly" means at CNF
Plenty of fertilizer bags call themselves green. Here is what we can actually point to.
- PROM adds organic carbon. Each bag carries at least 10% organic carbon along with phosphate, which helps rebuild soil that intensive farming has worn down.
- PDM recycles a by-product. Our potash comes from molasses left over by sugar mills, instead of mined and imported potash.
- Booster saves water. Bentonite holds moisture in the root zone, so light soils need less frequent irrigation.
- Rail for long hauls. Moving stock by rail uses less fuel per tonne than road.
